These Terms and Conditions of Sale govern all purchases made between The Van Gogh Academy and any buyer (hereinafter “the Customer”) through the website academy.vg.

They apply to:

• The sale of tickets for events organised by The Van Gogh Academy;
• The sale of physical products (postcards, posters, and any other products available in the online shop).

Placing an order on the website implies full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

Tickets for The Van Gogh Academy events are available in French only on the website academy.vg. The Customer must have internet access and a valid email address to complete their order.

All ticket orders are confirmed by email to the address provided by the Customer. The ticket serves as the entry pass to the event and must be presented (printed or digital) on the day of the event.

Tickets are personal and non-transferable. In the event of cancellation by the Customer:

• More than 7 days before the event date: full refund of the amount paid;
• Less than 7 days before the event date: no refund will be issued.

All cancellation requests must be sent by email to [email protected], quoting the order number.

In the event of cancellation by The Van Gogh Academy, the Customer will be notified as soon as possible by email and will be fully refunded. The Van Gogh Academy shall not be liable for any damages beyond the refund of the ticket price.

In accordance with Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to event tickets where the service is provided on a specific date.

Physical products (postcards, posters, etc.) are offered subject to availability. If a product becomes unavailable after an order is placed, the Customer will be notified and fully refunded.

All prices are displayed in euros (€). As The Van Gogh Academy is a non-profit association not subject to VAT, all prices shown are tax-free.

Products are shipped within France and internationally. Shipping costs are calculated and displayed during checkout before the order is confirmed. Delivery times are given as estimates and may vary depending on the destination and carrier.

The Van Gogh Academy cannot be held liable for delays attributable to the carrier or to events beyond its control.

In accordance with Articles L221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, the Customer has 14 days from the date of receipt of the product to exercise their right of withdrawal, without giving any reason.

To exercise this right, the Customer must notify their decision by email to [email protected] before the deadline expires. Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receipt of the returned product.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the Customer. Products must be returned in their original condition, unused, in their original packaging, to the following address:

Payment is made online through a secure payment system, by credit or debit card (via Stripe) or via PayPal. The order is confirmed upon payment validation. The Van Gogh Academy does not store any banking data.

Personal data collected during the order process (name, email address, postal address) is used solely for order processing and fulfilment. It is not shared with third parties for commercial purposes.

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Customer has the right to access, rectify and delete their personal data. To exercise these rights: [email protected].

The Van Gogh Academy undertakes to make every effort to ensure orders are properly fulfilled. Its liability cannot be engaged in cases of force majeure, unforeseeable and unavoidable acts by a third party, or non-performance attributable to the Customer.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable resolution will be sought first. Failing that, the Customer may refer the matter to a consumer mediator. French courts shall have sole jurisdiction.
